Meet Ms. Michelle

Hi there! I'm Michelle — a music teacher who believes every child is musical, and every parent can be part of that journey.

I've spent years teaching elementary music in classrooms full of wiggly, wonderful kids. I've seen firsthand how a simple clapping game can light up a child's face, how singing together builds confidence, and how five minutes of musical play can transform an afternoon.

I created Music at Home because I know that many parents want to bring music into their family's life but aren't sure where to start. You don't need special training or fancy instruments. You just need a few minutes and a willingness to play.

These activities are the same kinds of things I do in my classroom — adapted for your living room, your kitchen table, your backyard. They're short, simple, and designed to make you and your child feel successful.
